MEET LUNA NOELLE

The woman behind the dangerous love stories.

Portrait of Luna Noelle, dark romance and dark romantasy author

Behind Luna Noelle is just me. A wife, a mom, a reader who has always gotten a little too attached to fictional people, and someone who spent years carrying stories around in her head before finally deciding to put them on paper. I didn’t become an author because I had some perfectly mapped-out plan. I became one because writing gave all of those characters, emotions, and worlds somewhere to go. Somewhere along the way, it became more than something I loved doing. I wanted to create the kinds of books that make people stay up too late, feel everything a little too deeply, fall for characters they probably shouldn’t, and still think about the story after the last page.

Luna Noelle is my pen name, and it was created from something that has always felt deeply personal to me. I’ve always loved the moon, the darkness around it, the way it can feel quiet and comforting even when everything else feels heavy. That love became part of the name I chose for myself as an author, and somehow it felt right for the darker stories I knew I wanted to tell.

Luna Noelle also gave me a place to be fearless with that part of myself. To write darker. To be emotional. To tell complicated love stories without apologizing for them. I’ve found that there can be something strangely healing about reading and writing stories that explore trauma, grief, pain, and the darker parts of being human. Fiction gives us a safe place to feel things that can be difficult to name, to sit with complicated emotions, and sometimes even to understand pieces of ourselves a little differently.

The name may be a pen name, but the woman behind it is very real, and there is a piece of me in every story I write.

What I Write

Dark Romance | Dark Romantasy | Romantic Thrillers

Dangerous love stories. Morally gray men. Powerful woman. Obsession, revenge, suspense, emotional damage, and relationships that probably should come with warning labels.

Beyond the Pages

• Usually reading something dark, emotional, or slightly unhinged.
• Fueled by entirely too much coffee.
• Creating bookish content when I should probably be writing.
• Wife, mom, and collector of fictional men with extremely questionable morals.
